Rubber smell

Hello, I recently noticed a rubber smell when racing. Usually happens when I step on it at 40mph. I checked the belts but they look new and feel tight. Any suggestions or thoughts on how I should fix this?

Sorry, I didn't mean to give the wrong impression but this is highway racing not track racing. The tires aren't spinning, if that is what you mean.

Highway racing is not only illegal, but dangerous to others. I'm gone.

Not really racing either, but stepping on it to see performance. I meant racing the engine. Talk about over reacting!
