Im not a fan of the stretch bras, other than bugs it doesn't seem to be thick enough to handle stones or road debris. But that's just me. I have a GM bra and it works great with small stones and rocks.

It may stop some of the smaller rocks, but the larger ones I would be worried about. I too run the GM bra and the thick vinyl gives a bit more peace of mind.
However, in defense of the stretch bras, they are convenient to store, can be washed in the washer, and there is no problem using it in crummy weather.
Not Black, but as dark as you can get almost without being black. Works awesome. I usually use it when I am going to be travelling on the Highway or going to a show after a detail...I got it for bugs, not rocks.
I have one with the matching mirror covers for my MSG vert. I like the new Novistretch material a lot better than the original material because it has a tighter fit and doesn't look like a wet sock hanging on your car if you get caught in the rain.
I'm not a car bra kind of guy as I think they are ugly, however I like this one primarily for love bug season in FL as well as the occassional long road trip at highway speeds. It won't stop a rock, however it really keeps the front end clean from bugs, sand and other dirt. Plus, it allows air in and allows my LED lights to shine through. I'm very happy with it and hope to get one that fits a C7 Z06 in the future.
Will installing this bra over the auxilliary hood gasket be an issue?
Thanks.
Nope. I have the auxillary hood seal on my vert (and I enjoy the added additional 5HP they advertise) and the Novistretch bra fits right over it and connects to the two tabs on the inside front fender.

MSG C5, do you have pics of how yours attaches under the hood? Mine uses velcro...and I don't see a way to keep the seal and install the velcro. Thanks... Jim

Give me a day and I will snap some pics. I'm heading to a show early Saturday and was planning to install it for the ride up so I will take some pics of how it connects inside the hood.

Below are pics how mine installs. The velcro loops connect to the far edge fender tabs. I have the Performance Hood seal as well and as you can see the bra stretches right over it. Just tuck in the edges around the lights in case you need to turn them on and you're good to go!
In the first 2 pics I can't see where your velcro is located? Is it underneath?
I guess the issue is that my Novistretch bra does not have Velcro, instead it has two loops that wrap around the fender tabs. Perhaps the Velcro forms the loops? You can see the loop in the second picture as it is lying flat against the bumper pre-install.

Did you guys have enough gap to tuck the bra edge in between the bumper and the air dam? Maybe used a "spacer" to create the gap?
Not sure what you mean...mine just stretches tightly under the nose and does not go in any gaps.
Watching the installation video, one of the last steps is to "loosen the air dam and tuck edges of the material between its ends and the lower bumper."
Being that the video was of a C7 I phoned Novistretch and was told the same would apply for my C5.
If that's not the case ... thanks for the input, much appreciated.
