BF Goodrich Rival S

I see on tire rack these are available soon with an updated 'S' compound. Says they warm up quicker - might be a new tire option us in a 255/295 set up?

the Rival was revised based upon a lot of feedback (many negative) regarding the first generation

at the 2014 SCCA autocross nationals, selected drivers were invited to remain after the event to test several revised versions

the new S version is scarce at this time

my set for my autocross Miata should arrive this week and I'm eager to see how they perform

Grassroots Motorsports did an autocross test of it and several other new 200 UTQG tires on the market

the S set top marks, but there are a lot of caveats about car setup, car type, driver style etc that might make the Bridgestone RE71R another contender

depends on what you want to do with the car whether that or some other tire is best
