Default getting a code:PO430

I own a 2000 coupe and Im getting a PO430 code which is (Catalyst system low efficiency bank 2) my question is which side is bank 2 and also would that involve the 02 sensors?. thanks for info you can give me where to start looking

Bank 2 is the passenger side. It's possible to have to do with the oxygen sensor. Basically the code that means that the PCM believes that the catalytic converter is no longer operating within spec.

Yep, could be the converter or the sensor. Is your passenger side cat discolored? A quick check is to switch sensors left to right (you have to unplug at both ends as each sensor adjusts fuel to air for its respective bank). If it follows the sensor, now P0431, the sensor is bad. If you still get P0430 pretty good chance the cat is done.
P.S., make sure you clear the codes after switching.

I had the same code pop up on me. It was the smog/air pump.
Once I installed headers the pump was eliminated and tuned out the light.
