I'm getting the weirdest seasickness thing from driving my new C6. Just now I got back from a fairly spirited 30-40 minute drive and was feeling "alright" and then walked to the restaurant where I was going to have a drink but got super light headed and tingly teeth.
I drove to the Dallas Galleria earlier, and got a good wiff of the interior and got a little stomach sick... my windows were open with the A/C on waiting to get out of a parking garage
Has this ever happened to y'all? This isn't my first new car or even my first C6, but never experienced this before. I've driven older and newer quicker faster cars, never had an issue. Gasoline runs through my families blood.
I'm fine otherwise... think I just have to get used to it compared to my C5?
So sorry but you'll never recover , send me your car ( free of course) because you really shouldn't be driving !!!
Over my dead body! You'll have to pry my cold dead hands from the steering wheel.

All kidding aside, I feel sick when I drive automatics. I wonder if it's something to do with not being able to anticipate the shift or something.
To be fair, I think the C6 interior is orders nicer than the C5. (Not say it's a great interior, just better than C5) I'm 26, so it's all subjective, you like what you like.
It could be the automatic! My C5 is a manual and has been my DD for about a year. Maybe I'll try exclusively driving with the paddles for a few days and see if that helps at all.
Anybody else get Automatic tranny sickness? (Aside from thinking about Autos making them sick lol)
With all this crazy rain we've had lately, I'm just glad to hear you have been able to navigate I-35 around San Antonio and up to Dallas and around the area.
I have driven my C6 and my C5 once this past week.

I'm prone to motion sickness but not when I'm driving usually, when I first got my c5 back on road with stroker and sc, I felt a little queasy, but I got over that pretty quick, it may have something to do with what your brain expects and what your body actually feels. I'm sure you will get used to it

It's been rough. I'm glad I came up to Dallas from San Antonio on Thursday night - good weather and clear sailing traffic.
I'm going back home tomorrow, hopefully it's the same.
Weather has been super ****** in all of Texas lol- I've never heard tornado sirens downtown Dallas before, it was eerie.

Over on the C6 forum, they said it might be carbon monoxide poisoning. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
I don't have a detector to test the theory, nor am I well educated on the effects of CO on people.
Well I suppose you could buy a battery backup operated one made for a home cheap enough and use it at home after you find out your car is fine,
Pretty sure you would smell the other exhaust gasses if this was the problem, I realize it is odorless but if you had exhaust coming into car it would smell like.....well your exhaust, and you would here the leak I would think?

Could be an exhaust leak. I would put it on a rack and check exhaust connections and also under the hood.

I would think if leaking enough to get into car, you would smell it and hear it, before you could see it. But I'm not a mechanic. Maybe one will chime in.
One possibility that comes to mind is an A/C refrigerant leak: more dangerous than CO, especially when subjected to high temperatures.
I realize the tendency here is to "man up" and wave it off, but I'd get this car to a good mechanic immediately, preferably by tow truck.

This. I wonder if there is something in the system like a mold or mildew that could be causing your problem?
Also, if you have to wait for any length of time to get out of a parking garage, don't leave the windows down!! You can run the A/C and use the recirculating air feature of the system. That way only the air in the interior is used for circulation and cooling or heating.
