fan for climate control won't run
2000 coupe and fan for AC doesn't run . read book and it doesn't seem to be user error . i don't know if this would come up on dash display and forgot how to access it anyway . i'm OLD and would appreciate your thoughts . oh , i know it is fuse number 18 but haven't a way to check it if i could find it . . . peace

our computer has been down for last 5 or 6 days . i wanted to know how to check ''codes'' and couldn't ask but found directions i'd used awhile back for something . so i pulled codes and it said zero for hvac . i went through the codes again and is it was displaying codes the hvac fan started running . don't know why but for now it's working and i'm pleased , by the way , it happened on my 76 birthday . earlier i'd accessed the fuses and was shocked , pun intended . last time i changed a fuse was probably in the late 1950's or early 1960's and fuses were a tiny glass tube with a metal cap it each end and it just popped into and out of a little ''clip like holder'' . what i found on this vette were some little , i think red , things that i couldn't remove easily and chose not to force out . thanks again for attempts to help . . . peace

the diagnosis is that ac drain line got plugged and water backed up in to fan and trashed it . sounds logical since wifes lexus puts about a quart of water on garage floor after being driven and vette appears to put zero water on floor although it's weeks between driving it so water could dry up . in any case it now functions . . peace and thanks for your suggestions
