Default Z06s @ Carlisle

I'll be going to Carlisle again this year and was wondering if there are any plans for a Z06 section. In past years I've been with the ZR-1 guys and recently with the Grand Sports and now, since I have a Z06, I thought there might be an area for us.

Anyone know?

Anyone going?

I am thinking about going. Just curious, are you driving down or hauling your Z?

As far as I know there is no Z06 section planned by Carlisle Productions. The ZR-1 Registry used to have a section for ZR-1's, the 40th Anniversary has a section, NCRS has one, There is the Corvette Calvary (informal group over by the C5 Registry).

If you can look me up by the Long Island Corvettes Owners Association (LICOA) booth in spaces IB-59-61 by the Grandstand.

I'll be there. Picking up my new Z on Thursday, and driving straight to Carlisle. :D

I just got my registration in the mail for the "fun show" or whatever it is. 50 bucks for parking and two passes for all three days, seemed like the way to go..

I was assuming they'd end up putting the cars together by year or something -- I've never been there before, I have no idea how they do it.

The parking for the fun show is random - based on when you arrive.

Hey JerryL -- I put harnesses in my Z based on seeing and sitting in your set up at Carlisle last year... What mods am I going to have to do after seeing your car again THIS year?! ;)

Incidentally, folks, what Jerry said it right. Totally random spattering of Vettes ('cept the ones being showed are grouped by model years, but not down to individual models). You'll see groups of GS's together, and/or 25th anniversaries together, but those folks are members of the same club, and arrange to park together as they do well in advance.

For those who haven't ever been to Carlisle, you have NO IDEA just how many Vettes you'll see there. It's simply amazing (overwhelming, but amazing)!

Kirk,
It's time for a Cartek head/cam package.

can't wait.. time to get some more memory sticks for the digital cam!

Whenever they have the big harley shows in York, it's always great to see the bike convoys on route 30. I cannot even imagine what 78/81 are going to look like :) :)

Anybody heading up there from the Reading, PA area? I'm rolling out of Leesport where the folks live..
