I have searched on this but get mixed reviews so wanted to ask. I am wanting to put either c6 z06 or GS wheels on my c5,I know the oem sizes are to wide for the rear. My question is about the repros, some say they are cheap junk and leave them alone. But lots of others use them and seem to be happy. So just looking for feedback before spending my money. Like to hear negatives and positives. Thanks
When I bought my 02 coupe 3 years ago it had oem standard 08 silver split spokes on it. I am currently running Sport Muscle GS wheels that have the C6Z06 backspacing. They were chosen when I went with the wide rear fenders. I had a set of the C6Z06 spyder replicas in C5 backspacing 18" 19" stagger before this. I have had no problem with either set. Like the looks of both. There are a few members that are running the oem C6Z06 and GS wheels on their non flared fender C5's and love them.
Before wide fender fever hit me

I have chrome C5 Z06 reproduction wheels on my C5 - they were manufactured by Factory Reproductions. They have been on the car for 12 years (put on when the car was new) and the chrome still looks in mint condition. Not one problem with balancing the wheels either.
I bought my c5 Z06 wheels, powder coated black with a polished rim from OE Wheels in Sarasota, FL. They have been on the car for 5 years and no problems balancing.

Really like your car! I don't really want to do the wide fenders though, so I will have to probably do repros.

I'm bouncing the thought around to throw a set of the C7 Z06 wheels on in Competition Gray. 19" 20" stagger. They do look good and they offer these in a reproduction to fit the C5 as well.
I bought Factory Reproduction ZR-1 wheels for my 99 C5 that are the same size as stock C5 wheels (17/18). Had one wheel which had a chrome imperfection after a few months. FR cheerfully replaced it, rebalanced the tire, and gave me some C5 accessories for free to make up for the trouble.
Hard to complain about that since I only had to drive 40 miles to get it fixed. I'd do business with them again.
Yes these are aftermarket wheels that have been on the car since 2008. They are C5-Zo6 sizes. I am very pleased at how they have held up. O. E. wheels in Sarasota Fla. Yes they are heavier then oem but for my use that is a non factor.

I am new to C5s, so please bear with me
I have two questions
1 - those are 17 x 8.5 and 18 x 9.5, correct, and used the tires you had previously on the original wheels?
2 - from what I can tell, those have different offset / back-spacing than the OEM wheels, so did you need to use spacers of any kind?
Just mounted my knock offs over the weekend. Yes they are a few lbs heavier but I did not care, the are only a temporary set for me until my f14s come in. So far I am happy with them, yes I can feel the car is a little less peppy with them, but I did it for looks not speed.
