looking for advice!
Obviously, the car is flawless! garaged stored all its life. covered--
Question? What should I ask for the car? Is the low, low miles a selling positive or negative? Thanks in advance--

I find KBB to be pretty unrealistic as far as options/pricing. YMMV.

I'd check all the internet sites that post C5 Vettes for sale. If it was an all original, no changes made car, I'd guess $25K for the car, maybe more. Torch red, 6 speed manual, certainly don't hurt the value at all. The only concern I'd have is the mods.

Some may pay $25K for the car, but it wouldn't be me. You are getting into really low mileage later model C5s at that point or even some moderate mileage C6s.
I don't think $25k is out of the question, its basically a brand new car that has been kept in storage.
I just bought a total cream puff 98 Trans Am Convertible with 27k original miles. Garage queen, and it shows. Took it to my Vette mechanic and said, tell me everything it needs.
1) New tires (8 years old on the front, 10 years old on the back were on there) needed. $650
2) Fluids...you name it, it needed them all. Everything was original from 98 except the engine oil. How can that be, right? Garage queen. Have all of your tranny, engine, differential, yada yada yada redone with new filters, oil/fluids & A/C service, etc. Say goodbye to $1300.
So yeah, high blue book was $12k, I got it for $11k, then spent $2k making it safe. Brakes are at 55%, pads/rotors are original. Some sensors were out, they got replaced/fixed with that $1300 bill.
So maybe a car with a few more miles would have had that all done already, but the maintenance to bring the garage queen up to snuff was another 20% of the car's purchase price.
You have to look beyond the purchase amount and include the "cost of ownership" and "safety" amounts, too.
Or you can roll the dice. I prefer to play blackjack, not roulette.
C5's are supposed to routinely hit 250-300k in mileage if serviced & maintained, IIRC. Some here have them with that mileage, too.
The low mile car isn't always as good a deal as you hope.
