Great Video. It is a good add on the the book by Jamese Schefter, All Corvettes Are Red. The video mentions some "issues" in the design and engineering the C5. The book goes into detal on these issues. Very interesting. In fact, the Corvette came close to the fate of Olds and Pontiac.
I would like to find a copy of this video for my collection of C5 stuff.
Being a 1st time owner, I really enjoyed this. But one question, at the end a man talks about the front design and keeping the fenders(?) for lower insurance premiums????? What do the fenders have to do with it?

That was a result of the C4 clam shell hood/fender design. One fender ding and you had to replace the whole thing. I think the design of the C4 front end kept insurance premiums higher.
