I've seen some LED/Halo lights in some catalogs but not sure if they are the same, or as good, as yours. Where did you get those?

Welcome to owning an amazing car that never stops giving in the thrill category.
Sorry I missed your question. I bought them on EBay for $300 if I remember. Mine are the modified ones that only the halos stay on unless you apply the brake or signals . They are of great quality ,look more modern and way brighter then stock.

I have always been a fan of subtle touches like this handle without the keyhole

A very enjoyable post, thanks for the effort. It was made more enjoyable to me because our starting points were very similar, I also had made the decision to acquire a convertible, and had also decided I didn't want to pay for those fine imported german parts, as I narrowed my choices, so I wound up with a triple black 03, rolling on chromed wagon wheels.

I must congratulate you on putting some good distance between your start, that looked a lot like my car now, and when I bought it, and what you have, and additionally, will have in the future, if you decide to keep to the plan mentioned.

The contrast between our cars has already grown , from being somewhat alike, to two very different cars. Just the way we both like it. You can see why I will enjoy updates on the fettering of your car. It's kind of like if I sent my car away to collage , or it grew up and made something of itself.

You've gotten a lot done quickly and looks like you've found some good used parts on your journey. Curious how the Stance coilovers turnout very likely next on my list.

I'm usually turned off by spoilers, but that one looks great. Keep up the good work.

Finally achieved the look I desired. The C5 sits at a practical height,IMO it just does not have that exotic car look when it is that high.I did make a sacrifice but this is not my daily driver.
