Cheap too! A couple 2x12s, a few cuts and some screws. The trick is to make the bottom board for the front longer than the top by enough that the air dam clears..
I still have to jack up the car though.. But, it's not too bad. Drive up, jack the front and slide some jackstands under and then jack up the back.

That's almost exactly what I had been doing till yesterday....
Yep..It's too bad there isn't a cheaper option...17* degree ramp on those RhinoRamps is too steep for our cars...
I emailed them and told them they were missing out on a large market segment. I told them to make a cheap ramp for low cars and they would sell a bunch of them. No reply.
It's unlikely that you will see ramps that are 100% longer, 65% higher, and 40% wider than Rhino ramps at a Rhino ramp price point any time soon. You aren't going to find these in a big box store since the sales and profit per square foot of shelf space at the price point you want is not high enough to justify giving such a product any shelf space at all.
The cost of door-to-door shipping alone of the Race Ramps products is probably higher than the price you are willing to pay for the ramps.
If Rhino ramps were the same size as Race Ramps they would be priced exponentially higher than the 17 degree ramps they offer now. The size of ramp you are looking for is about the size of molded front bumper cover on a typical car. I don't think you will find many bumper covers for under $100. You won't even find any for the $300 you would pay for a similarly sized Race Ramps product.
Fortunately for me, every year thousands of customers realize the value proposition offered by Race Ramps products and they purchase a set of ramps from me.

That was one BIG box delivered off the UPS truck...Thought it was my new Refrigerator at first....
I have the 2 piece service ramps that I bought from Fred at Reverse Logic. Really like them.
Dumb question... how exactly do you get the rear tires up on the wheel cribs? Drive the front tires up the ramp and then jack the rear up and just use the cribs like jack stands?

Did you also get the ramp extenders..changes the ramp angle from 10.8* to 6.6* incline...No touching of the Air dam at all...Plus it's a nice smooth incline..

They are nice and I would love to have a set, but they are not worth the price to me. I have been able to accomplish everything I need to do with wood blocks, a jack and jack stands.
If Rhino ramps were twice the size they should only cost twice as much. Shipping should be no more than 50 bucks, (a set of tires ships for 60) so that would still make them half the cost of Race Ramps. I might be interested at that price point.

I did not get the ramp extenders. My front is lowered on stock bolts and the side air damp definitely scrapes going up the ramps, but nothing problematic. Nice to hear that the air damp doesn't scrape with the extenders.
When it was time to replace my side air dams, I decided to just take them off instead of replacing (of course, I left the center air dam on so the car can breathe). Last time I used the ramps, there was no touching at all.
If you still have to get out the jack to jack up the back, you're only really saving yourself from having to jack up the front, vs what I'm doing (and what you were previously doing) ?

Any other advantages to the new ramps?
Using them on the Vette is a bonus, plus they look really cool, and they are so easy to use, store, move around he shop..
I bought them so I could back my 67 Chevelle onto them. Trying to jack up the rear of the Chevelle from both sides of the car at the same time is a pain in the *ss. The front has a very beefy crossmember that I don't mind putting the jack under, the whole point is to not " twist " the car as I'm trying to get it in the air ...,

Have you ever seen one split! I had a style years ago with post and pin. Post split at the pin. I had run in the house for something, back in the garage car was sitting a little crooked.
