Gentlemen,

It has been my pleasure to be a part of the c5 forum .
I completed the build on the Z and as some of you know I spared no expense on the car .
I've been kicking it around now for a few months to sell and move on to the Heritage 2013 Grand Sport .
I pulled the trigger Monday .
Mark ,Maxx , Matt , Randy , Jack and most of all Mister Bill thank you ....
Cars will come and go but the friendships that I've gained thru my Z06
Will last 4 ever ...

Before you ask Evil Z had 66,000 miles on her ... We had close to 60 grand in car it sold for 23,500

Someone got one heck of a deal on one beautiful well enhanced car. I especially liked the detailed attention that was given to the engine bay. It was a work of art. Color matched pieces blended with carbon fiber accents. I would have loved to had all of those covers. Working on acquiring them a little at a time. Going to miss seeing it. Good luck with the new Grandsport. How about some going away pics to have one last look.

Going to miss you and all of the pictures. Enjoyed watching the progression of your build. Post some pics of the Grand Sport here for us to see too.

James - your Z was a work of art and I'm sure you will miss it, but now you have another vehicle to make your own. Best of luck with the C6 - post up some pics and remember you're welcome to still hang in the C5 section.

James - your C5 Z was awesome and I really enjoyed the pics you posted from time to time. One of the most memorable C5's on the Forum.

We'll miss seeing it here, but our loss is C6 Section's gain.

Love your choice - if I were to ever buy a C6, it would absolutely be a Grand Sport.

Post up pics when you get a chance.

Take care,

Bob

Moving onward and upward can be tough as these cars are addictive and have a real personality, but congrats and enjoy your new ride. Really tough selling my 50th AE when I got a C7, but I've never looked back.

Congratulations James, I hope you enjoy your new ride, I can only imagine how good it looks now and especially when you get started on it, I bet you had a real hard time handing the keys to your Z over

I've been struggling with the same thoughts James, to sell or not to sell. The floods down here in H-TOWN almost made it for me, fortunately I was out of town when they hit. Congrats for being able to pull the trigger and good luck with your new one.I know it will be a fabulous car,L8R ZFLASH

I can't blame you, a 2010-2013 grand sport is the only other vette I would get rid of mine for although I wouldn't let mine go for what you did... it would take a crazy high number from a crazy high person to get me to budge

I'd love a C6Z or ZR1 myself but I'm not ready for the bloodletting that would be selling my C5Z, LOL (and I have less $ than you did in my C5Z).

.30 - .50c on the dollar? Yeah, I'll hold on to her for a while.

Anyhow, congrats on the new ride and looking forward to pics of the GS!
