plastic coated wheels
www.dipyourcar.com and check their YouTube channel for a LOT of great tips.
They have gloss, pearl, and metallic finishes.
You can also use materials to make patterns as well. Overall, I've had great luck with PlastiDip.
You will probably spend 10-20 minutes removing it from each wheel. A pressure washer helps.
It's best to do it with them OFF the car.
Go have them balanced while they are off the car, before you do the dip.
Do the center caps separately.
I like to have them deflated, then have the front bead pushed off the wheel. Paint. Dry. Re-inflate and re-install. This makes it a lot easier to keep the overspray off the tires, as you can tape off all the way behind the bead.
There are some shortcuts like just deflating the tire, and using playing cards as your mask around the tire. A quick while of tire dressing on the tire BEFORE you spray allows you to peal any overspray off easily.

tips:
if you masked off any thing you'll want to remove the tape while the plasti dip is still wet, once it drys if you pull the tape your going to pull up the plasti dip from the part you want it on too
if you try to remove it and it dont come off easy, spray a citrous based cleaner on it let it soak 10 minutes then soak them again for another 5 minutes and power wash it off
over all its pretty easy i've done 5 sets of wheels and other car parts, when its applied right it lasts till you peel it I've power wash my wheels with out any peeling every time it got washed
these wheels are dipped

I tried painting the barrels and I don't need to polish the barrels
now and the barrels are easy to keep clean. I should of done
this along time ago.
