Noticed my mufflers angle down towards ground on my '00 targa and don't on other c5's. They slide into the stock hanger fine. Connected to a kooks off road x pipe. What's wrong here?
I would say it is the X pipe. The way the flanges are welded on would rotate the mufflers. I put the TIs on my 2001 convertible with the factory H pipe and they sit nice and level.
the x pipe is 3 peace you need to rotate the 2 rear peaces to get the angle right, loosen the clamps on the x pipe, then use 2 clamps and a 2x4 or something straight clamp the tips with it to hold them in place then tighten the exhaust clamps
