I've been waiting on this for some time, and Dennis pulled it off for me. I was going to recover my dash myself, but Dennis stepped in and convinced me to allow him the opportunity to do a Better job than I might have done. He knew he could do it and this certainly looks fantastic. I'll install it in a couple of weeks but for now here are the photos he sent.
Wow that looks really good. I have considered having this done myself and so I have a question for you.
I have read and spoken to several individuals who state that a dash top in a bright color (i.e. other than black or beige) will reflect itself in the windshield during the day to the point of being annoying.
After you install the dash and have had it for a while I would appreciate it if you would come back to this post and give us your driving impressions.

Here is a pic of a dash I dyed to match the interior of my former 87. This color really reflected onto the windshield and made it tough to drive on sunny days. I had to purchase a used stock one in order to eliminate the problem.

Thanks! Have long admired your Vette
I've been driving with a red dash for years, yes at times it can really project a reflection onto the windshield. But once you adjust to it it's no big deal, I'm sure the more inexperienced drivers will have a tuff time with it but once you learn and pay attention to your driving it quickly becomes a non issue. Hence my love to keep the red interior and simply upgrade from GM Vinyl/plastic to Torch Red leather.
