Just got new chrome wheels on my FRC & I want to add some chrome lettering on the filler & rear bumper. Is the acrylic set any good or should I spend the $ on the stainless?

If I had to choose, I'd go with stainless lettering.

I've had both and I have the stainless on now. The acrylic ones do look good but I found that they stick out a bit to much for my liking and I've knocked some pieces off while detailing it. The stainless ones I haven't had a problem with yet.

Just my two cents, they are all great til one letter falls off or someone decides to peel it off for you.

I have the black SST lettering. They sit nice and flush and there's no sign of them coming off anytime soon... Make sure you clean the surface really good prior to putting the letters on. I used a Q-Tip with some cleaner on it

Default Thanks for bringing this topic up. I bought my wife a 2003..

50th Anniversary convertible a month ago, and she wants a chrome lettering set put on the rear bumper. It looks like I will buy a stainless lettering set for her car based upon the above comments.
