I'd like to replace my stock radio in a 2001 Z06, something close to the same size and it must be compatible to play my music off of my phone via Bluetooth. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks
You can either go with a single din unit that is smaller than the current unit and will require a spacer to fill the gap or a double din which will require your radio bezel to be modified. I recently installed a single din pioneer unit from Dennis at Double D mods (forum sponsor). Gave me full Bluetooth capabilities at a very reasonable price. He even prewired the harness for me which made the install very easy.

Peripheral PXDP PXHGM4 Chevrolet Corvette 97-04 iPod Adapter
Just got one from Dennis at Double D mods and picked up a Aluratek - 30-Pin Bluetooth Audio Receiver from Best Buy... So, after upgrading stock speakers to Kickers and installing the Ipod Adapter and Aluratek Receiver I am playing the Ipod, or Bluetooth from our Cell Phones thru the STOCK head unit...for about $200... I am very happy with the sound quality and the car still looks BONE stock.

Listen to Vetteman Jack. There is no better audio guy anywhere when it comes to our C5s. Double D is THE place to go. Absolutely the best customer service on the planet.
I know you said you wanted to stay with single din style or something stock looking. But if you have ever thought of doing the double din mod. Now is the time Dennis at Double D is offering a Awesome deal. A new Kenwood DDX9902 head unit that has carplay this is the latest in car audio, your bezel modified and all connectors and brackets for the retail price of the head unit alone.
