Has anyone put on Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires? Looking to replace mine with the OEM size and was hoping for any first hand advice. Not a daily driver, possibly a track day or two per year.

Yes, I have. I had them when I was bolt on (386 WHP). For the money, they are a great tire despite all the negative comments you will get from a lot of people on here. On the street, I could dead hook 2nd gear, and get minimal spin from 1st gear rolling into it, on a warm day. Now, as far as how they perform on the track? I can't say because I have never tried it with those tires, but, I'm guessing probably not too well.

Well if you're looking for OEM size, you are limited to 3 choices...

Goodyear Eagle F1 SC (oem)
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Bridgestone RE760

I have the RE760 for non-track, non-daily driving (basically weekend public road driving) and I think they are a great tire.

If you are trying to stay within a small budget and you are not tracking them, they cannot be beat.

I have not used them for any HPDE, but from what people have said, they aren't that great of a track tire.

So really, it's either the GY or Michelin's if you want to stay OEM size and track days once or twice a year.

I installed a set of RE760s last year. I have no negative comments about these tires. They perform as good as the OEM Goodyears for about half the cost. As far as driving on the track, I have done a couple of HPDE events and have no complaints. Great all around tire.

Never had them for a track day but on the rear of my heads/cam car I have no complaints.
