Default Harmonic Balancer Came Out Again

So I have a 99 C5 with 114k miles currently. This will be the 3rd time I've had to change the stock OEM harmonic balancer due to it moving a 1/2 inch forward. I have read that it might be worth it to go and buy a 10-25% underdrive pulley to keep this from happening again, but wouldn't that make all the accessories run slower? Any input would be great!

You DO NOT want to put a stock HB back on. Will send you a PM for more info.

Why not post the info here - it might help others besides the OP.

it sounds like it's time to go for an aftermarker unit... powerbond makes a good factory replacement as well as jegs/summit

The main thing I need to know is if my completely stock C5 is able to use a 10-25% underdrive with no issues.

Under drive will work just fine but you can find a good aftermarket balancer, like ATI, that is stock size. Go that route and be done with the issue.
