I have an Autometer "Carbon" Boost and F/P gauge. Both of which have sub standard lighting from the manufacturer. So after some searching I found it is a common 194 bulb and I could drop an LED in there. I ordered a pair from brightleds.com at 14 bucks shipped and had planned to review this weekend. Low and behold I found a set at Wally World cost was 8.91 a pair for white, blue or red. So I decided to eat the 8 bucks and see how they are. While I don't have a pictures of the gauges with the stock incandescent bulbs the difference is dramatic and about a perfect match for the stock cluster. Ill be reviewing the brightleds.com bulbs this weekend and will add some pictures to see if they are any brighter. They bother have 5 LEDS and a 360 degree light pattern
They were maybe 10-15% brighter than the ones from wally world and were 2-3 mm shorter. They looked almost identical but did produce more light. I tried to move the Walmart ones to the foot well but they seemed to be too long, So I moved them to the trunk. I think they both produce acceptable light but the Superbrightled.com were brighter to I kept them in the Autometers.
Walmart 9.50 ish after tax said 180 lumes and the SuperBrights 14.10 shipped said 75 lumes and were brighter.
