I have a 2003 C5 with stock 17" front and 18" rear factory wheels. I think they are called the 2000 C5 wheel , they are the dull factory gray and I am wanting to buy the same style but chrome. I have found these from Jegs but I am lost if they will fit and the sales person said if you mount them and they wont fit they are yours !!! The wheels I am looking at say 17X8.5, Bolt Pattern 5x120.7,Rear Spacing 7.03", Offset +58mm, Part # 494-4750486. And the other one is 18x9.5,Bolt Pattern 5x120.7,Rear Spacing 7.81",Offset +65mm. Part # 494-4750493.Will these work ? I just want to keep my stock tires on it Front 245-45-17 and Rear 275-40-R18. I just dont want to pay a $1000.00 and have my tires balanced and put them on and find out they wont work for some reason . I have found a original set of polished that look like new and only have around 14000 miles on them, owner wants $1500 are they worth it or should I go with the repos. Thanks Very Much Darrel
Those wheels at Jegs have the correct offset and backspacing, but if you numbers are right, the bolt pattern is a bit off. And that seems to be a rather high price for them unless they are OEM wheels and even then seems to be a bit high. If they are reproduction wheels, try contacting Bob at House of Wheels or any other forum wheel vendor and see what price they have.
Check out the Parts for Sale section. You should be able to pick up some factory chrome wheels just like yours for well under $1,000. Heard great things about Bob at House of Wheels if you go that route. Good luck, chrome will look great!
