Please help with any info as possible, I am a straight newbie and regret it.
Okay please don't think because I don't know engines that I don't know how to drive, o have raced motocross since I was three and drag races since I was 21... Just that my father never did work with me. Just did it for me. Which I regret... But currently I am stationed in Alaska but my corvette is home in Louisville Ky
any tips help!!
I have purchased a rebuilt 99 c5 with 138,xxx I know this car has no value. But that's the point. I want to and sky father money every month and have him build an engine from bare block up... I do not know what to look for when buying a new block and the Internet is only telling me what to do to my block and not which block or aluminum vs iron for my car.
I want a lot of hp and torque but who doesn't, I would also like to drive it on the streets. Not as a daily but quite often. Please give me proper guidance as where to go and what to look for
Is it possible to have an 800hp and use as a daily? I know it's something you wouldn't wanna do but my buddy has a 6xx hp camaro (I've seen the dyno) and he uses it as a daily. I don't wanna invest thousands and only get into 400 hp on an ls1 I want the most for my money but don't wanna spend 20k. Labor will be free and I want the most power that would also be nice to drive on the streets every now and then
Why would you put the money required for 800hp into a "rebuilt" car that also needs all the other parts you have been posting about? Or is this your version of fantasy racing? If your car is a beater it's not very smart to put a lot of cash in it.
