Default Angels Moving Autos

Hello to all
Has anyone recently used this transport company?
I read 1 or 2 reviews from 2014,looking for more recent moves. I received a quote from them today on enclosed shipping from California to Alabama.
Thanks ,Rick

I had my car transported from Santa Rosa to Nebraska via Angels in Aug '14. Be aware they are just a booking agent and do not own or control any of the carriers they use. I paid an extra $100 to get a specific date for pickup and delivery which the carrier missed on both ends. Supposed to pick up at 4:00 pm. Got the car loaded at 9:30 in the dark. 30 minutes after leaving my house they crashed and damaged an Audi R8 in the trailer. The other cars including mine were OK thank god. They were 2 days late on delivery. I got no info from the carrier unless I called them. Serious language barrier with dispatcher and driver. Eastern European. Anyway they did deduct my $100 bucks upon delivery, the car was fine but the stress was not worth it. That's my experience others may have been better, others worse. Lastly be aware Barrett Jackson is happening in Vegas early Sep. A lot of carriers will be booked for that event and may want a premium to transport around that time if at all. Good luck.

I know there has only been one comment so far on that transport company, but sounds like it might be a real good idea to check with some other transporters.

The online brokers that don't have their own fleets use really sketchy drivers. Sold a car a buyer that used one of them, by the time he got it up on the trailer he burnt the clutch.

To whom it may concern:

I am responding to this accusation regarding this forum members comment above. Our records do not show us shipping a vehicle for you last year, or ever actually. I have done an complete forum customer search, and CA-NE search, and we have no record of that shipment whatsoever. Maybe you are confusing us with a company called Angels Towing and Transport our of New Jersey.

We have hundreds of forum customers that have had amazing service with us, and would be happy to supply references. We have built a $75K software program that has been tracking all our loads, and keeps records of all the carriers that we work with, their insurance details, the type of equipment they use and their years of experience. You can email us at sales@angelsmovingautos.com and we will happily provide you with 10 names and email addresses of Forum customers that will provide truthful information about our company.

Thank you,

Dina Gifford

Hi Sir -

Just to educate you. We have maintained a very excellent relationship with the Forum and with the Texas Speed Syndicate because we are NOT just an online broker. We have contracted carriers that work for us directly specializing in enclosed services. Our carriers have to meet a high criteria of standards to be used in our database for transporting our customers cars. We would be happy to supply you with numerous happy forum customers info so you can check it out for yourself. If you are interested, please email us at sales@angelsmovingautos.com

Thank you,

Dina Gifford

Maybe you should keep better records. I'll post the receipt if I have to. My issue wasn't with Angels it was with the carrier. Everything I stated was true. Why would I make up a lengthy diatribe just to discredit your company? Like I said no issues with you I was just letting the OP know Angels was not not a carrier only a broker, which I never said was a bad thing. In my case the service I received from my carrier was a lot less than I expected. Back to the OP, also keep in mind you can't get a confirmed pickup or delivery. They have to factor in delays such as weather, traffic, etc. they only give a range and are not responsible when a "delay" occurs.
