Default Help IDing some wheels?

Hey guys,

I posted this on the tech forum and am reposting here for extra visibility. I recently purchased a C5 z06 and it came with this 20"/19" wheel combo that looks like larger chrome Z16 wheels. Does anyone know where these wheels are from?

Thanks in advance!

Those are horrible.... I know first hand because these type wheels were on my C5Z when I bought it in 2007.... do not get up to a high rate of speed and expect the car to handle like a Z06... It won't! I say replace them NOW! Those Chinese wheels are horrible.

hmm you got me worried now. I did drive around 100 and the car did not feel confidence inspiring. My 95 legend 6mt (on great suspension, tires and wheels) feels a bit more stable. What are those new wheels you have on? They look nice.

Sadly this is the only car forum ive been on where Chinese replicas and knock offs are promoted and commented on as "nice wheels"

Its one thing to be positive and nice to other members , im all for it , but when someone shows you their new set of knock offs right from china, you should be a TRUE FRIEND and tell them politely that they've made a poor choice.

I've got thick skin (plus it's wheels that came with the car). No reason for me to be offended!

If you want to see people promote ****** wheel or car decisions try the Honda forums. this forum is imho, pretty knowledgeable.

We get it already... anything not three piece is a terrible wheel in your opinion.

Everyone is commenting that they look great; not that they are supposed to replace a 'coveted' top end wheel.

In this hobby its not an exaggeration that overconfidence is a life or death mistake. I'm all for the point you're trying to make *****, and it's partially because I don't know/trust the true origins and QC record of my foregstar that I'm extra cautious with every depression of the gas pedal and every upcoming curve. People need to be aware of these things. Seen too many news articles in my short ownership period of people ending up dead ultimately from pushing the boundaries. Who knows which of stories is due to component failure.
