C6 x pipe on a c5

It's a question, will a c6 x pipe fit on my c5. I was given the x pipe by a buddy of mine and just curious if anyone has tried this yet.

it would be close..but some modification would be needed to make it fit and it won't fit like a aftermarket x pipe would that was made for a c5

You might be the first if you try to install it. I think I would get one specifically made for the C5, but if you can make it work, hard to beat the price.

Seems like it would just be easier to have someone weld a universal one on. If the C6 x-pipe doesn't work, your gonna have to have someone weld the old pipe back on until you get the right one.
