C5 5 speed manual?
Can anyone tell me if a 99 c5 ever came with a 5 speed manual trans? I thought they were all 6 speeds. The seller insists it's a 5 speed manual but I can't find any info on them. Thanks CF

It could be a Auto car, and somebody put a Tremic in it. I use to work at American Powertrain, and we had kits for any and everything.

It's a six speed or it is not original. If the person only used five gears it's no big deal. He just used a lot of gas. Sixth gear is boring. We only use it if we are going on long stretches of freeway driving.
