Im sure this question has been asked maybe not. I have a set of c6 coupe wheels. No tires. I have a 97 coupe with chrome/polished thin spokes on it now.
I have two questions. Whats the best tire size to put on these wheels. They are 18's in front 19's in back
Second question is. Will my tpms work in the c6 wheels?
No the tpms won't work on your car but the wheels will fit. The rears will sit in a little and need an adaptor to look right. Check my post titled my first vette .

I checked out the post you reffered to. Pics look great. How funny/bad does it look without the spacers. I hear spacers are not so good. But wheel adapters are better way to go if need be. What size wheel adapters are necessary to make it look right

They look ridiculous without adapters, set way too far in
If you already have the C5 chrome thin spokes on now, save your self a lot of money and time and stay with those. I would not consider the C6 rims an upgrade from what you have now.

I just like they way they look more . I personally think that the c6 z06 rims are the nicest but thry are way to wide for what i need. I also like the aay the 18's and 19's look on the c5.
You can buy c6z06 repros for your car that fit. I had them in c5z05 sizes. Then i put oe c6z06 wheels on. Iay not have c6z06 power, but i have the look.

i don't get the whole C6 thing on the nicer C5 car???????????????????????????????
I like the look of the c6 and the c6z06 rims much better. Plus i like the bigger rim. The c5 thin spokes are nice dont get me wrong. Im going to be selling mine very soon. They are in hreat condition. Zero curb rash.
That's what was on mine when I got it, looked pretty good, don't have to go that wide but at least need 7/8 or an inch
Exactly, 20 mm to 22 mm thick adapters / spacers is all that's needed for the rear. The front will fit with no adapters.
If I remember correctly, a C6 rear wheel offset is 79 mm as to where a C5 is 58 mm
I have C6 Style wheels on mine 04 but, I purchased Aftermarket Chrome in C5 Z06 sizes - 17 x 9.5 & 18 x 10.5
If you decide to go this way, your C5 TPMS sensors will work fine on the C6 wheels. In fact, if you mount them in the same location they were in, you won't even have to reprogram them.
Check your rear wheels (C6 ones) the offset may require Wheel Adapters.
I went with
Motorsport Tech
280 South Rock Blvd., Suite 100
Reno, NV. 89502
(775) 351-1000
They're Wheel Adapters.
Also, "Hub and Wheel Centric".. (made specifically for the application)
7/8" thick
My wheels fit like they were made for the car.
Need to cut of the "NON THREADED" tips of the wheel studs on the car to clear the wheels once the adapters are on.
