Default Window Regulator Gurus!

What did I screw up!

I replaced the window regulator in my Driver's Side door and was VERY careful taking the window out and reinstalling to not scratch the tinting (not careful enough apparently!). It was not scratched when i reinstalled and I tested the window up and down several times while adjusting the front to back positioning without any problems. I then reinstalled the Door Panel and when I put the window up (the first time) something cut through the film. I don't see that anything is causing a problem since them, just that first time. What is/was this hitting?

Also, I notice that the front of the window rests against this fuzzy thing on the front pulley when in the full DOWN position - is that normal?

New Front Pulley

This is what the rear pulley area looked like where I was having the grinding prior to replacement. I don't see anything wrong there unless maybe the cable had some slack?

Too late now but the first thing to do prior to removing the window is match mark the window location at each of the clamp points as well as match-marking the adjustment screws best as possible. I did this and did not have an issue. Sorry you'll have yours re-tinted

Thanks for the replies, but what was the window touching to create this problem - the front regulator channel or something else (maybe the interior door trim)? I don't see that it "touches" anything except that front felt pad on the channel pulley when in the down position.

The only adjustment I had to make was nudging the window to the left (when inside the door) a couple times. I saw in a video that mentioned lining up a mark on the glass, but did not show the "mark" or say what/how to line it up with (I will know next time now that I found the mark!). I did not make any up/down adjustments.
