they are gm valve covers that I had some welding work done to and then had them powdercoated... part # is 19171502 and it is a complete kit with gaskets and bolts... personally I never really liked the look of the fuel rail covers on my car so that's one of the reasons I decided to do what I did... and sorry that pic looks horrible, it looked better on my phone lol

I am not an over the top kind of guy... I like to keep the look simple, but slightly different.
Its not about how much money you can throw at your car. Its about how tastfully you can change the look.
A real artist can make a simple drawing of some one with just a few strokes, and instantly, anyone would know the character. Fashion designers can make a world shaking design with ten strokes on a sketch pad.
They are the true artist... As Ive said many times, anyone can own a 5,000 dollar camera, that does not make them a photographer... just a guy with an expensive camera.
True design doesn't take something and make it unrecognizable from its original vision.
Just how the mind of a Car designer works.. Concept designers are always looking over the top... pushing the limits, so that when the finish product has been torn form the most of the fluff is gone.
Simple here... I took the classic Chevy Orange engine color and added it to a clean palette. Most old Chevy guys recognize it instantly.. This is appropriate for an old guy like me, who's blood runs Chevy Orange.
