Default C5 was crashed into

My C5 corvette was in a car accident yesterday. I was at a stop, and 2 oncoming cars crashed and one was pushed into me. One was turning and got hit by the other, therefore it hit me. I wonder if you guys can tell me about how much in damage this is, and what I should do. Thanks for any advice.

A lot. I don't know, maybe call your insurance company?

I did. Well I'm dealing with their insurance. They just haven't asked me to take it anywhere yet for an estimate. So I was just curious.

I would find the most expensive body shop to send an estimate to there insurance company then fix it myself.

Actually the one that was at fault was past due 2 days on insurance. Fortunately, they said they cover up to 7 days after it expired.

Exactly what I was thinking. Doesn't look like that hard of a job.

Default Ouch

Glad you are ok! Had to have my front clip replaced due to a dude in a pickup driving over my front end a while back. Replaced the front clip, didn't hurt the hood. I paid extra to get the hood and targa top sprayed the cost for the front clip was just over $2000. Will be more for the headlight. There is a lot of things under the clip that may raise the price.

Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks. I was sure someone had some kind of damage that was similar. But yes. My headlight, directional signal, and my hood were damaged. I guess it'll be a little more than that

Assuming you have full coverage:

Call YOUR insurance company. Report the accident.
It's obvious it was not your fault.

Your insurance company will commence on getting your car fixed.
Then they will go after the other driver's insurance to get reimbursed.

They are much better at doing such than you will be.

BTW, it appears you are OK. Great. Yes, by all means report the accident to your insurance company. This is a requirement in your auto policy. If anything goes haywire on your claim against the negligent driver's insurance company, you can fall back on your's for collision coverage (if you have it). Because of the class of car, you also may have a claim for loss of value due to the accident. Many states recognize this as 'damage' to classes of cars that prior accidents will reduce the value but it does take some effort on your part to prove the claim.

I hope all goes well in your car repairs.

Good that you're OK. If it were me, I'd be looking at a new TigerShark front fascia since the old one is trashed.

Get at least one more estimate/look at damage. I didn't and 3 months after repairs I noticed the the hood must have flexed and the drivers side fender didn't exactly match the hood

Sydwayz is 100% right. Let YOUR insurance company chase them. That's what you pay them for.
