When traveling I usually have a gun with me . In the Vette there was no good place to put for easy access . It was normally on the floor just under my seat , but it could be hard to reach ,
Today I made a place to hang a holster on the tunnel just in front of the seat.
Was looking at my Travel Buddy and it hit that I could do something similar for the holster .
I need to get a left hand owb holster so that it is the correct orientation , but for now this works .
It looks like you used a light cover from a drop ceiling. Those things are very fragile and break relatively easy. You may want to look at making it from a piece of plexi glass instead.

pretty cool... I thought about doing something like that at some point in time but it's just fine putting it between the seat and tunnel, right behind my seat within hands reach, or even laying on the seat... as long as it's covered up with a shirt or something that is considered concealed in tx but every states laws are different
It is a piece of 1/8 inch abs plastic . It slides under the edge of the console and stands on the carpet . I cut a 45 degree angle slot for the belt clip to slip in . I heated the plastic around the slot and pushed out the lower side of the slot to make a slight bulge to make it easier to slide the belt clip over.
I might have to use the hook side of Velcro to make the bottom stay in place when driving .
Nice brother! I see you're rocking the smith and Wesson shield, good choice! I have definitely been trying to figure out the best place to carry my concealed during long drives. I was just keeping it in the center console.
I like it, maybe make a fabric flap to go over to conceal. Only thing I would be concerned about with any of these, is it coming loose, and flying around in a crash or hard maneuver etc. Would be cool if someone came out with something like a fire ext. mount, w a quick release, so it would stay put and still be easy to access.
