Good deal???
Are you handy with a wrench I guess normal maintenance issues would apply here.

I would want you to be aware of the potential for a failed part to be unobtainable for that year, crashing the worth.
Spend wisely, a low price is nothing without value. The lowest priced vette in town is probably not the best choice, unless you find a seller that is unclear about money and car repair after 155 thousand miles.
Depends of course on why you want it. Starting with an 8K Vette to build a monster, would be a great foundation to work with. If you are looking for a daily driver, 155K would have a short life unless your commute is a very short one. If that is your intent, I would look for a much lower mileage one for 14-17K.
Some of these cars have gone over 200K without major work, but I would count in with that 8K future engine work, potentially other drive train work, and probably immediately some suspension work.
Of course 8K with 20-30K in mods, new paint, upholstery work, etc. could have you one bad a** Corvette. Dropping in a new GM performance LS3 525 crate motor, put a Z06 tranny in it, would be a super nice N/A street/strip car. Of course you could also go with a rebuilt LS-1, add a Supercharger, beef up the tranny and rear axles/differential and have a very nice strip/street car for around 20K.
Without more info on paint and interior hard to say. Paint and interior work alone can run you up to 10K unless you can do it yourself.
