I went with the stealth ones from RPI Designs on my '03. Only about $40, easy install and does protect the side of the car without being highly visible. And no drilling required.
I just put the RPI splash guards on last weekend. They are discreet.
I am stunned at the amount of sandblasting the hood and lower panels are subject to. This is a black Z with less than 4000 miles. How sticky were the original Goodyears as far as picking up debris?

Me too. I like them and you barely notice them. Good product. Good price.
What ever you do don't get 'body coloured' flaps, they stick out like a sore thumb.
Black flaps blend in wth the tires. Unless you live on a dirt road I don't see the need on the street. 3M would also be a better invisible route.
...ever see a Fcar, or Porsche with flaps? :lol

You don't have to drive on dirt roads to get your fenders sand blasted. If you put any miles on, the stealth flaps do a great job in protecting the paint. I only wish the previous owner of my car had them. It is one of the best and cheapest accessories you can get for your Vette.
