I joined the C5 circus/madness/insanity etc. today with this purchase -- a 2003 coupe, 30,000 miles, black exterior, black interior.
I've looked more than a year for something with low miles and great condition inside and out for the right price and, oh yeah, nothing older than 2003. Mostly came away disappointed to the point where I wasn't sure the car that met my criteria existed.
Then this showed up. Appearance and records indicate it was well cared-for, and it checked out mechanically. All it needs now are new tires (they're the original run flats) and my rear in the drivers seat.
Thanks to everyone here for the advice as I learned what to and what not to look for. Brace yourselves for plenty more questions.

My first was an 03 coupe like yours but M6. 8500k on the clock at the time. Fantastic car and trouble free.
Your looks exceptional for the mileage also, great find.

So many that have contributed to this book of knowledge to make it easier for us. This forum is second to none in knowledge about Vettes. And the help you can get when asking any question is amazing.
Congrats on a fine, fine looking specimen. Black is positively the best color for the C5 (ask me how I know). Just to set the record right, we Corvette enthusiasts/owners are the sane ones...the rest of the world is crazy!!
