Serpentine belt

I was getting the car ready for a cruise this weekend and checking things over and noticed the serpentine belt was missing a small section of grooves. Ordered the belt and decided to check the idler and tensioner pulleys also. They were pretty loose so decided to change them also. Wow. Dint know how quiet the Moter could be. Wasn't too bad of a job. About an hour and all is good now. A little maintenance can really give you a great sense of confindance. Ready to cruise again.

How about the harmonic balancer, any wobble?

Im bringing mine in for the harmonic balancer in a week or two, which pulleys and tensioners should I have my mechanic replace while hes there?

All of them perhaps?

If so where did you buy yours? Which brand?

You might want to look at your A/C tensioner. On my 02 it had worked it's way out and was rubbing on the trans line. I had the tensioner replaced and re- routed the trans line. You also need a new serpentine belt obviously.

Looked to be running true. No wobble to it yet. 82000 miles
