Good morning. I have a 2000 6spd convertible. Bought it in 2010 with only 2500 miles on it. It now has 11,000. Beyond changing the exhaust to Borla and regular oil changes and one air filter, I've not done (or had to do) anything to it. Is there anything that is recommended at this point I should have done? Thank you.
Alot depends on your use....
Do you track? Drive like a grandma?
One thing that comes to mind is if it sat for 10 years hows all the rubber components, belts, hoses, etc....
Spark plugs - guess those are the originals...
Trans/Diff fluids/Brake/Clutch fluids....
Hope you got new tires as well....
+1 for rubber components. I checked the belts on my 2000 and found the alternator belt to be full of dry-rot cracking. The coolant and vacuum lines seem to still be in good shape though.
Drive it... came back to edit... may have sounded like a wise guy... but, I really meant it... DRIVE IT! It's HARD on cars to SIT... rubber, seals, bearings, brake fluid, condensation in the trans, oil pan... from temp changes and never getting up to operating temps to purge moisture...
LOTS of bad things can come from NOT driving your car... you don't have to put on thousands of miles, just get it out every now and then and give it a work out.

Throw in a bottle of techron gas treatment every now and then on fill ups to keep the gas gauge in the tank working properly. I assume U have already done the LMC5 column lock mod. to prevent the column from locking and leaving U stranded.
