Installed the Borla exhaust
A big thanks to Rookieracer for helping me install my exhaust system. Without the lift, the job would of been difficult. Since this was my first time doing the exhaust on a Corvette, his expertise came in handy as well. Big difference in sound. The Borla Stingers have no drone that I noticed. I have the base model, with all stock exhaust. At idle, it's noticeably deeper sounding and very nice tone. At cruising speed, it's fairly quiet, slightly more sound than the stock, but nothing obnoxious or loud and you can still enjoy the radio, etc. Accelerate and the system opens up. I also noticed that the idle is smoother now and the engine doesn't lack breathing as much. For those who post that the Borla Stingers are too loud, all I can say is they sound great on a stock engine and exhaust system.
Best part? Those little stock exhaust tips are gone!!! I'm glad Rookieracer and his father convinced me that Borla is the way to go.

I could totally see them not being too loud with everything else stock. I had a similar system on mine and it was painfully ear piercingly loud through an underpass at WOT. But that's with the Kooks 1 7/8" long tubes and high-flow cats on a convertible with the top down.
