Daily driver. Would like slotted rotors with coating to prevent rust. Got new wheels and tires, anybody had luck with this. Looked at brakemotive. sugustions would be helpful.
Thanks

I'd say you nailed it with Brakemotive. I've had that setup on my C5 for a good while and couldn't be more pleased. Go for it you won't be disappointed.

I got the Premium Series (drilled/slotted) rotors from R1 Concepts and couldn't be happier.

PS: Unless you track your car, I wouldn't worry about cross-drilled rotors cracking (as often discussed on this forum). There is nothing cooler looking with a nice set of wheels.

In the end don't all these rotors rust?

All iron rotors will eventually rust. But depending on what type of protective coating they have, it can be slowed down quite considerably.

Brake motive seems to have a good reputation here on the forum. They are also priced without breaking the bank.

I installed BrakeMotive rotors and pads about six months ago. Good performance and light dusting. Great bang for the buck.

I forgot to mention I liked the Brakemotive so much I got them on my GTO and G6 winter beater. And they are zinc coated for rust prevention.

DBA T2 is a great rotor. I have heard about Brakemotive but somthing scares me about buying cheap brakes. Its less than $200 for 4 rotors and pads. Ill stay away from them.

My max brakes rotors/pads for all 4 wheels were $180, seem to work as good as the OEM's that were on the car and they are coated to boot.

Have Baer Eradispeeds. Had them for many years - at least 12. No problems whatsoever. But they are pricey. Running them with Hawk "street" pads.

Another BrakeMotive fan here. Have had them on the Vette for 6 months and on the s2k for 8. Couldn't be happier.

Cost right at $200 for pads and Rotors for the Z. Can't beat that price!

Baer Eradispeed 2 piece Rotors, 14" rears... they are 14 years old and have 90,000 miles on them.. Pricy, but would buy another set in a heart beat. My Eradisped two piece are the first set that came into this country .. made in Australia...
