[Z06] C5ZO6 Exhaust Question.

I just purchased a 2002 Corvette ZO6. It is completely stock but I have a set of Kooks 1 7/8 headers on the way and I'm going to be running a catless kooks x pipe. After that I was contemplating keeping the factory catback since it is titanium and has a nice tone to it however it is 2.5" and going from 3" from the headers and x pipe to 2.5" at the catback is not going to be the best performance wise. I have full exhaust on my 2006 trailblazer ss with corsa catback and i like it but the corvette that i bought is for me and my father and he likes the traditional deep throaty muscle car sound but he doesn't want it to be super loud like straight pipes or slp loudmouth because i had borla straight pipes on my 2003 zo6 and he hated it. So i guess my question here is... Is there any 3" catbacks that will have the deep throaty muscle car sound I'm looking for but not be ridiculously loud and raspy? Im not afraid of a car that makes noise, i just want it to be a quality respectable sound and not something thats going to make me sound like a pissed off teenager...
Youtube videos are hard to tell exhaust sounds from so i not looking to be told to look on youtube.
Id like to stay away from the following:
all magnaflow products (I'm not a fan of magna flow)
all flowmaster products (no choke-master for me)
the borla straight pipe exhaust (too loud and raspy)
the slp loudmouth exhaust (too loud and raspy)
corsa exhausts that sound "exotic" because I'm looking for the deep throaty american muscle sound
outside of that I'm really open to anything. please let me know what you all think. Again I'm sorry if this is beating a dead horse and repetitive but i just want to know what everyones opinions are.
Ive heard good things about billy boat and borla. but again i want to hear what you all think. thanks for taking time to help me out!

kooks also makes a true 3" connection. you may be able to exchange your 2.5" x pipe for the 3". i think im going to do this to mine. i know my stock TI exhaust is killing me power wise
