Question. Need some help please
I noticed today that when I unlock my doors on my 2002 VETTE with my key fob the lights once in a while won't turn on. If I lock with the fob the alarm sounds the horn and lights flash when locked. If I unlock again the lights come on as set up in my options for my alarm in the dic. Anyone know of any reason for this ? Or is it just a little electrical gremlin. Thx for any info.

write them down and post them here... it probably won't help you with your problem, but... you mentioned electrical gremlins and this is how you start to track those little buggers down... and it's good practice.

It may not be your problem, but from the manual:
Approach Lights
Press the OPTIONS button until APPROACH LIGHTS
appears on the display, then use the RESET button
to page through the following choices:
0 APPROACH LIGHTS ON
APPROACH LIGHTS OFF
If you choose APPROACH LIGHTS ON, the fog lamps,
front turn signal, rear back-up and courtesy lamps
will come on for 30 seconds when you press UNLOCK
on the remote keyless entry transmitter. This will
occur only when it is dark outside.
APPROACH LIGHTS OFF turns off this option

Z06, so no fog lights, but my front turn signal, rear back up and courtesy lamps (they are very courteous
) all come on whether dark or light outside. 3:30 yesterday after work, 6:30 this morning...I'm in Canada, but mine is a US car. Maybe the Z is different?

I'm sure my lights would also come on when unlocking with the key fob be it day or night. Been working as normal since I originally posted this thread. So I'll just keep an eye on it and report back. Thx.
