I've posted threads on the Eibach lowering kit, not the hardware kit, but the whole package. What is the most affordable way to lower the car, I'd like to get another 1-2 inches out of it. I've already lowered the stock bolts as far as they will go, but there is a good 3 inch gap on the front. The back isn't a huge concern, but obv I would do a system that is front and back. The thing is, I really like the stock ride of my car, it's comfortable. Just need some input if anyone is willing. I'm having a hard time rationing a $1500-2000 coilover setup, I'm just not sure it is worth it at this point. Am I completely crazy lol? I know I am OCD about this lowering thing, but if anyone has some ideas I would greatly appreciate em. Thanks-Davis
you can go a lil over an 1" or so before u start to mess up the suspension geometry. if u want to slam (looks over function) it u need coilovers. im about max u wanna go on leafs. bushings are cut in the front, and longer bolts in rear. this got me about 1-1/4" in front, 1-3/8" rear. u wanna keep the rear a lil higher than front to maintain the proper rake.

you're going to have to decide which is more important to you, looks or ride quality... when modding cars you gain some and lose some, many of us try to find a happy medium... in this case coilovers would be the medium... they will allow you to drop the car quite a bit while still maintaining decent ride quality... if you decide to keep the stock suspension any more than 1" lower than stock and you are going to start sacrificing ride quality because your shocks are being prematurely compressed so you are losing suspension travel... not only will ride quality suffer but you put yourself at a higher risk of bottoming the car out and it can also wear out your shocks at a much faster rate... with a true coilover you can adjust the ride height without affecting the suspension travel
