I know this subject has been covered over and over... but, after some research, and considering how I drive MY 2004 C5 coupe, I selected "Soft Ride" ACDelco shocks (560-613 and 560-612) shocks. These are C6 OEM shocks, different than the ones that came on the C5, and supposedly are better tuned, etc.
My reasoning was that I don't "track" my car (although I have tracked some of my past cars), and I just basically drive it, sometimes a little aggressively. I figured that, it IS a Corvette, and the engineering of the car is different than, say a regular sedan. Even in stock form, the Corvette should handle great, right?
I live in northern Ohio, where the roads can be absolutely horrible, with blacktop patches all over the place (once they fill the spring chuckholes).
I could not be happier with the result. It rides great, and yet is very controlled. I just wanted to make the case for a "street" Corvette!!

Probably more owners go with the C6 Z06 shocks, but nothing wrong with the shocks you selected. As long as the car's ride is what you like, the choice was good.
