As one post replied,if you back out at an angle it seems to work best as long as the traffic will allow you the extra time it may take.I don't know why as i flunked geometry in high school but it does work better than forward.

About all you can do is go down at an angle - it may take a few tries before you figure out at what angle is best to minimize or eliminate scraping. It's just a price we pay for having a car that sits so low.
A&A installed a set of wheels on the crash bars under the front of the car when they supercharged me. Andy didn't even charge me for it. (what a guy!) Anyway, now the wheels help with steep approaches, but you need to get used to entering or exiting on an angle. The wheels just help the car "roll" instead of scrape the front end. Like the other guys said, if the angle is too steep, then move.
Last resort would be to have the driveway entrance re-profiled with a landscaper/paver/concete contractor. Not viable for a place you rent, but probably value adding for a place you own.

You have "training wheels" on your turbo charged vette? WWhaaat...
juz keeding... that's pretty cool.
A lot of time what you hear scrapping isn't the front facia or the fangs... it's the middle or side air dams... it might eventually tear them up but they are not terribly expensive or difficult to replace...
I took the side ones off and trimmed the middle one about 2" ... I didn't like them hanging down and wanted to hear less scrapping... I do occasionally still rub somewhere but now it's the fangs...
No it doesn't over heat.. we still run right at 197 degrees almost all the time...
Like so many others..............Enter at an angle, go slow and get use to the scraping sound. A lot of practice helps too. Every time the city resurfaces my street it just gets worse
73Corvette, the wheels are only about 2 inches around and you can't see them. They are a weld on and when painted black you'd never know they were there. My air dam is fixed in place with no springs and is cut down for clearance. It all works good! Training wheels,--yeah I guess so. Enjoy!! Rod

I was totally just razzing ya.. that is really cool... do you know who makes them?
