Anyway. I've been using shell gas for a couple of years. Last week I decided to use chevron with "techron". It burned 1/4 tank of gas more than usual. Same driving speeds and usual pulls on the highway. Same everything .
The motor seemed to run different though. Weird different. Clean maybe? Don't know but it threw me off. So now I went back to shell gas. 91 BTW.
I do believe that is for Chevron Pro-gard fuel injector cleaner.
Yeah U gotta be careful what U buy. This AM I called Techron at 1-800-526-3013 to ask abt the discrepancies in directions 10oz vs 12 & 20 oz.
Technician there stated the 10oz "New Look" has a higher concentration than the 12 or 20 oz. He confirmed the 10oz is good for 15 gall per directions on back.
