Stu, you and I have been "trading parts" for a while. 😆 It's always a pleasure doing business with you. I'm sure you'll enjoy the MGW. Let me know if you have any questions, although, I know you're an old pro at this.
You won't believe how different it feels. It is a great upgrade and much more precise.
You may find it a little stiffer and/or "notchy" feeling. That can be improved with the anti-venom mod. (Simply a washer or two on a detent screw at the transmission that takes maybe 10 minutes to do.) I used one washer and it made a world of difference. My MGW is still precise, but much smoother and easier shifting.
Good luck with the install, and do it quickly so you can start enjoying it.

Agree at first it may feel stiff but after 500 or so miles it either loosened up enough or I just got used to it. Combining anti-venom mod and adding Amsoil Torque Drive fluid to the trans now it shifts precise like butter.
I haven't had a good test yet on the highway...
...too much rain in Gainesville FL!!!
Oh well.. while Maggie is sitting in the garage I took time to work on more mods :-)
