Facebook Fridays: Nice Corvette Restoration or a Bad Decision?
Does anything strike a chord with Corvette fans quite like seeing one that’s been built from the ground up?

Who cares how they spent their money on that car, turned out great. Can't wait to see replies to this, from the 99% that care more about wax than horsepower and track time

Someone brought it back to life. Better than sitting in a junk yard.

Who cares about a salvage title in this case. That's a VERY impressive resurrection that was done. Hats off to the owner.

Since he appears to have built a track machine, seems like the right path to me. Why start with a fully working C5 when you're just going to gut it anyways.
Nothing appears to be stock, and it looks like all the missing body parts were salvaged from other wrecks.

Agreed he obviously before built the car for himself to enjoy. I'm currently looking to rebuild a salvage mr2 spyder and do a 2jzz swap. Will be a lightweight ~2000lb ,200+ hp fun toy poor mans lotus Elise.

AWESOME resurrection. I bet that's ALOT of fun. I certainly wish I had the time, money and talent to do something like that. VERY COOL. Would love details on the build.
