Wow not long after I shortened mine. I think the snap shifter is same threads yes? If so look into a 9/16nf threaded coupling nut and get a piece of the same in ready rod. You will have to make sure your boot will going above or around the coupler.
I purchased the RSD because I like that it's threaded, makes it easy to switch ***** and increases the **** options available. I also like short (heightwise) shifters, but this is a little extreme.
I actually have a C6 shifter sitting in my garage, but then I'd have to get a new shift ****.
I've got a WC Lathe Werks **** that I spent some coin on, that would also go to waste.
If I can't find an option, I may just have to switch to the C6 shifter.

It hasn't been angled. The C6 shifter comes angled already.

I went to Home Depot and they don't carry any hardware in 9/16-18.

I'll have to look around for these things.
Sorry yeah, you'll need to get this from a fasteners supply store. The one I buy from for example is called Lakeside Fasteners and that's basically all they do. Sometimes they only sell to manufacturers but most of them are pretty good.
