Default Not a vette but met this on the road

Met this 1924 Packard that this 75 year old man drove from Michigan to the mountains of Virginia. Last year they drove it to Texas. They use back roads only. Only extra parts he takes are 3 fuses.

Maybe it's just me.... are these pictures actually viewable on anyone's system without having to scroll a LOT up/down/left/right?

It'd be really nice to be able to see the entire picture one one screen. Do I have a setting hosed or do y'all just keep on scrolling?

I can't be bothered with all of that so hopefully I just have some setting out of whack? Or are these (and most other) pictures just freekin' huge?

Hmmm... thanks -I'll have to look further then. My screen res is 1900x1024. That should be plenty I'd think. Will investigate.

Thanks Jack - I'd like to figure out what I have hosed and be able to see it.

Now that I know it's "me", I'll finger it out when I have a chance. SWMBO has declared tomorrow a beach day... I'll suffer.

Got it... there's an image resize setting in the User CP...

Cool car - had to be a blast seeing it in person!

They were really a neat couple. I asked him what's the secret to taking old cars on long road trips. He bent over and whispers " don't tell it where your going".

I assume he meant the car and not his wife.

Great answer.

Well, since I do IT work for a living.... here's you a little something to try the next time you find pictures not fitting your screen. If you're using a Windows PC to view the forum and those pics, just go to a post with a pic then hold the Control key down and press the - key (minus key) to make smaller or the + key to make it bigger. Works with text too on any web page. Works in Chrome, Firefox and IE. Give it a shot.
