Mine is some basic cheapy one... works fine. Doubt you'd need a huge powerful one for this purpose.

Just use electric. No need for fancy. Once u use, youll wonder how you lived w/out it. Xcept you can blow the mirrors for 20 min, and the 1st time you shut the door a drop will still come out of it...

I use my Rigid shop vac as a yard blower, so I suppose if you're wanting "not fancy", that is about an non-fancy as it gets. I just pull the motor off, attach the tube(s) to the out vent and voila, yard / leaf blower.

I just bought a Ryobi 40 volt cordless blower. Handiest blower I've ever had. Just grab it and blow. No starting, fumes, or cords to drag around. So handy for many tasks, and works well enough I gave my gas blower away, and haven't used my corded one since. And, you can throw it in the car, and use it at the car wash, or anywhere. I bought the 40 volt string trimmer too, and now have a extra battery. My favorite new tools!

Bought one at Home Depot. Electric. Works great. Was like $40 bux. I'll check the exact name and model later.

I have a cheap HD/Lowes Toro electric that I use....had it many years and it works great. After using that....I wipe any excess off and am good to go!

Used to use a Toro electric blower until I decided to get a Master Blaster. Best purchase I have made, use it all the time on the cars as well as a to clean the garage floor etc...

It is heated as well which makes real quick work of drying the vette. Also does a much better job on the hard to reach places like the side mirrors and around the rear lights and panel gaps.

The MB is on the expensive side but it is a purpose built tool, to me the results are worth the investment.

Default Rigid

I myself have a Rigid portable vac. Very industrial feel and so small in size. About 80$ at the depo.
